PSV want Kromkamp

Kromkamp has rarely featured for the Reds since arriving in a swap deal for Josemi back in January. As Rafael Benitez looks to trim his first team squad Kromkamp is a likely departure as he is a player Liverpool can ask a decent fee for.

PSV Eindhoven have expressed an interest in signing the Dutch defender who was a part of Marco Van Basten's Holland squad at the World Cup.

"We have contacted Liverpool to ask what Kromkamp's status is. They made it clear his situation is pretty hazy. We don't know if we can loan him or if we must buy him. Maybe we'll get some clarity soon," said PSV chairman Rob Westerhof.
