Punishing season no problem for Riise

With Liverpool starting their season back in July and the Reds going good guns in both the Champions League and the FA Cup, there are concerns that they could suffer from burnout before the season ends. However, Riise has dismissed such worries.

"The more matches I play the better I get," said Riise after playing for Norway in Senegal.
 
"We hardly train these days. It is just matches and recovery. But I might get worn out in the long run."
