Rafa aiming for Bolton return

The Liverpool boss stayed at home when the Reds went to the Emirates on Sunday as he recovered from a minor operation to remove a kidney stone. However, he is recovering well and hopes to be on the bench for the home game against Bolton on Friday.

"Rafa has undergone a second minor operation which went well. He's feeling a little better and is hoping to be back for the game against Bolton Wanderers on Boxing Day," said a club spokesman.
