Benitez has tipped Fabio Aurelio and Gabriel Paletta to quickly adapt to the Premiership and become popular with the Liverpool fans.

"In terms of quality, Aurelio is a player who can play in any team. I have no doubts about Fabio," said the Liverpool manager in yesterday's press conference.

"He has a lot of quality with the ball but he's also a good worker and has a stronger mentality than before.

"He had some problems with injury but he's more focused now and ready to take his game to another level. He needs to be fit but, if he's fit, he'll play well.

"Paletta is a player with a good mentality. He can play the more physical game we play here in England.

"He needs to change some things but he can do well here. Both players could do well for their national teams.

"Paletta might need more time but he's a very good worker. But Fabio could play for Brazil now. He has enough quality."
