"I had confidence because we played with passion and the team was doing the right things - moving the ball, passing the ball, crossing and trying to win the second ball," said the Liverpool boss. "Two goals in the last few minutes is always positive.

"The attitude of the players was really good, the commitment and also as always the supporters. We are a fantastic club so they are playing with passion for the club.

"It was a great win but we have another to play so we must be careful. I am confident but Inter Milan is a very good team so we must be careful."
