Rafa defends Kuyt

Kuyt has come in for criticism following a two footed lunge at Phil Neville on Saturday but Rafa Benitez has defended him and says Kuyt is not a dirty player.

"The ball was one way and Kuyt was in the other. Okay, he was very aggressive but he did not touch the player," said the Liverpool boss.

"He was trying to stop the cross. Intent? You know Kuyt, forget it."
