Rafa defends Skrtel

Skrtel didn't have the best of afternoons against Havant & Waterlooville yesterday, gifting the non-leaguers the corner they scored from and then getting a deflection on the shot that beat Itanje for the second. However, Rafa Benitez has backed the defender to come good.

"It's not easy to analyse a player after his first 90 minutes at Anfield. He was okay, he did a lot of good things but the understanding with the other players will take time," said the boss.
