Rafa demands more

Bellamy scored twice and gave a man of the match performance against Wigan on Saturday but Rafa Benitez is demanding even more from the Wales striker.

"The problem is because he has scored two very good goals, and he's played really well, it'll be like when Crouch scored a few goals, suddenly he was the new Bobby Charlton!" said the Liverpool boss.

"We can talk about Bellamy being a fantastic star, but he needs to keep going for one month, two months, doing the same thing, scoring some goals, then we can talk about him.

"It is important to have confidence, to believe in yourself, and keeping working.

"I think he was trying to do his best all the time, but it was clear on Thursday he was training really well.

"He was finishing well and he was scoring a lot of goals, great goals, right foot, left foot."
