"The first 15 minutes we played well," he said after the game. "We had some opportunities and we lost some of the control, but after we conceded the first goal our heads went down.

"We concecded another and for the last 30 minutes of the first half we didn't play well.

"In the second half we started with a high tempo and we scored the goal and had two or three options and tried until the end.

"We're disappointed but you must think about positive things. We'll prepare for the next game but must think about the final.

"I'm disappoinmted with our away performances in the league, but at home we have done well but there are some points we could have won, but now we can't change anything.

"To be in two finals in the same season is not easy but we need to improve for next season.

"Everton have had a good system and we've not played well away. That's the difference.

"We will see now if we have inuries or problems and we'll look to win the next game and prepare for the final."
