Liverpool were held 0-0 away at Middlesbrough yesterday despite dominating the match throughout. After the game Rafa Benitez praised his players for their performance but admitted he couldn't believe they hadn't got the win.

"I can't be happy because we didn't win but it was a pity because we played really well and deserved the three points," said the Spaniard.

"We created a lot of chances but were unlucky not to score. The positives are we kept a clean sheet and we didn't lose but we should have won the game.

"When you are not winning away from home you need to analyse why. If we play as well in the future away from home as we did today then we will win a lot of games."
