Despite rumours that Pongolle isn't happy at Anfield, Benitez says he still has a part to play if he continues to work at his game.
"If he plays at the same level he did against Deportivo then he will get a chance" said the Manager
"He played very well in the ten minutes at the end of the game. When you change a player during the game you want to see something different and Sinama-Pongolle played very well. He is very quick and can dribble and does different things."
