"We deserved to win the game and we kept going forward until the end and put pressure on Arsenal all of the time," he said.
"The Arsenal goalkeeper was unbelievable and made some amazing saves but fortunately Luis managed to get the goal. Luis is a player who has an instinct for scoring goals and he did it for us tonight.
"The players showed great character. I always say that when you see a penalty saved there is no point thinking about it and try and score from the next chance you get. We kept going and created a lot of chances."
