"Voronin has been playing well all season, but the problem is, we didn't pay money for him, so maybe people overlook the contribution he has made to this team," said Rafa Benitez.
"People talked about Crouch or Benayoun or Babel against Besiktas, but for me it was Voronin who was the key, because he was so intelligent in how he brought the play together.
"It amazes me that people are not talking about him, but maybe that is because we paid nothing for him. He has very good game intelligence, which is important in our side."
