"Clearly, it is always important for the players to feel that they have the support of the fans, especially on big occasions like this," said the Spaniard.
"If the fans can create an atmosphere like a European night then that would be better for us.
"But it is important to remember that our fans are always behind us so we cannot ask for any more.
"The most important thing is that we get it right on the pitch and I can promise the fans that we will try to do our best for them."
