Rafa not getting carried away

Liverpool have only lost once and conceded once in their last ten games. Their run of form has got them into third place, eight points behind second placed Chelsea.

Although Rafa Benitez is pleased with his team's recent performances he has warned them that the season is a long way from over and they haven't wrapped up Champions League qualification just yet.

"As a manager of a team that has a good balance between attack and defence, I am very happy," said the Spaniard.

"I think it will be a good month for us. But we are not looking at the table. We are looking at the FA Cup against Arsenal, our next game.

"If you start counting your chickens then, at the end, you will have problems.

"There are a number of teams that are contenders for Champions League places: Arsenal, Portsmouth, Bolton, Tottenham - all of them can be there.

"It is not easy to talk about this now because we have a long race."
