Rafa not rushing players back

Both players have been out for a month with metatarsal injuries but both are fit again and training with the first team squad. However, the Liverpool boss won't immediately return them to the team unless they're ready, despite the Reds' recent poor run of results.

"Agger and Alonso are still not ready. We said six weeks for them to be out and it is getting close to that by the time the international break is over," said Benitez.

"We will now have a two-week break for the internationals and we will see how they are after that.

"But even after that, it may not be quite the time. It could be another week or so before they can be considered after that."
