Rafa praises Finnan

"I think Finnan is a player that every manager would want to have in his squad," said the Liverpool boss. "He is always playing at the same level.

"Carra and Finnan always play well. They are always 8, 9 or 10. This is really important when you talk about a competition that lasts for nine months - to have players like Carra and Finnan.

"I always think that the players prefer to have the support of the manager. If he is playing every game it means that we have confidence in him."
