Steve Heighway's side retained the FA Youth Cup by beating Man Utd in the two legged final. After Liverpool's success Rafa Benitez congratulated the players.
"It was a tremendous performance by all of the boys. To go away from home and overturn a deficit was a great achievement," said the Reds' manager.
"They have played well throughout the competition and fully deserve their success. To defend any trophy is a difficult task and they deserve a lot of credit.
"I'm delighted for the players and the staff involved."
