Rafa wants home win

Despite being unbeaten in the league so far this season, the Reds have only won once at Anfield in the Premiership, September's 6-0 hammering of Derby. It's a record Rafa Benitez wants his team to put right starting against Fulham tomorrow.

"The key is to be as good as before at Anfield because last season we were really good at Anfield so we must try and do the same - hopefully the last game [8-0 against Besiktas] will help because people will have more confidence and will know that we can score goals," said the Liverpool boss.

"We cannot continue drawing games at home we need to start winning right now that is clear because we want to be as close as possible to the top of the table so we need to win at home and away, starting against Fulham.

"If you analyse some of the games, Chelsea we must win, Arsenal we could win but was really difficult and the others against Tottenham we were winning 1-0 and had two clear chances and made two mistakes and against Birmingham we had control to the last 10 to 15 minutes and they had two counter attacks.

"The difference of maybe one goal could make a big difference in the table.

"The other day you could see that the team was doing the right things from the beginning, creating chances, passing the ball and moving the ball. Sometimes when you score the first goal you have the confidence that you need."
