Rafa wants more goals

Last season the Reds failed to score in open play away from home until December and that ruled them out of the title race before Christmas. It's a problem Rafa Benitez aims to correct this year.

"We need to score more goals away and that way we will win a lot of games," said the Liverpool boss.

"We normally create a lot of chances but we need to score the goals to go with them. We need better finishing and that's why we need a different approach.

"The last pass is better for the striker and the strikers will improve."
