Rafa: We did a very good job

Despite the Reds' busy schedule of late, the team showed considerable drive and control in the comprehensive victory, which particularly pleased Rafa.

"We knew we were tired and they were tired. We played the other day against Tottenham and the second half was very physical, direct football and long balls and yesterday was the same. We knew Bolton are a physical team with direct play and we were very concentrated trying to control these things," he said.

Rafa added, "The idea was to keep moving the ball and keep passing and sometimes in the first half we had two or three counter-attacks when they were dangerous, but we said at half-time 'keep moving the ball'. Once we scored the first goal we had more space and more possibilities and also some players playing at a very good level."

"I am really pleased with the team because the concentration of the team was fantastic. I think they did a very good job."
