Rafa will stay

Real Madrid have been tapping Benitez up recently but the Liverpool boss has made his mind up to stay at Anfield after a phone conversation with new chairman George Gillett.

Gillett phoned Benitez at the weekend and laid out his plans for the Reds' future. Benitez is now convinced Gillett and co-chairman Tom Hicks mean business and is looking forward to planning an assault on the title next season.
