Rapaic on trial

The Croatian midfielder's contract with Fenerbache expired last season and has already had an unsuccessful loan spell with Celtic.

He could sign for the Reds if he impresses at Melwood this week.

"We will have a close look at him. He is a very experienced player and played for Croatia in the Euro qualifiers," confirmed Gerard Houllier.
