Raven earns call up

Raven, who is captaining the reserves this season, made his first team debut in this competition against Spurs last season and impressed everyone at the club with an assured display. Rafael Benitez will want a similar performance tomorrow as he looks set to hand Raven a place in the starting eleven.
Benitez said: "I have been talking with Paco Herrera and Hughie McAuley about Raven and they told me he is playing well at right back. I want to see him now at another level.
"We have a lot of confidence in Raven and he plays well every game for the Reserve team."
