Reading win was important says Rafa

With difficult games against Manchester United, Everton and Arsenal up next it was important the Reds took all the points when playing teams at the wrong end of the table if they're to qualify for next season's Champions League says Rafa Benitez.

"We knew we had some games like Reading, Bolton and Newcastle that everyone said we must win [because of the tough three games that are up next]," said the Spaniard.

"We knew we needed to get three points because now we have some difficult games and, if we make a mistake, at least we have these points."
