'Real' Liverpool ready to be unleashed

Liverpool haven't played to their full potential yet this season but Rafa Benitez believes his side are now ready to do just that after back to back wins over Newcastle and Tottenham.

"After the World Cup, without training and 23 days holiday and the team not training together, all these things, it was a difficult position," said the Reds' boss.

"Then we had international duties, friendlies, international games, Champions League qualification.

"The team can't train normally but now they are improving. After winning against Tottenham we will be a little bit better, but there is room for improving.

"Maybe now we will see the real Liverpool, the one I'd like to see. The players just need time.

"You can't improve your stamina levels or your pace in a training session in one week you need to train more."
