Recreativo keen on Pongo deal

The Liverpool striker is currently on a season long loan with Recreativo where he has impressed. The Spanish side weren't going to sign Pongolle on a permanent deal at the end of the season because of a lack of funds, but after agreeing to sell a couple of players they will now have the money to sign Pongolle on a permanent contract.

Pongolle has agreed personal terms with Recreativo and Liverpool could receive up to £4m for the French under 21's international.
