Redknapp hoping to sign Diouf

Diouf has been left behind as the Reds visit the US, and has not been given a squad number for the forthcoming season. He has been linked to a move to Malaga in La Liga but Redknapp is still hopeful of bringing the player to Fratton Park.

"I'm not making any progress in the transfer market," said Redknapp. "We are waiting to see if there's a way to get El Hadji Diouf from Liverpool and I'm looking for a couple of loans."
