Redknapp wary of Owen threat

The 24-year-old England striker has netted just three times in his last fourteen games, including a strike against Redknapp's men at Anfield in the FA Cup last month, but the veteran boss expects class to shine through for Owen.

Redknapp said: "Michael is still a fantastic striker and a top-quality player. He scored against us in the first minute up there in the FA Cup and we had to fight like tigers to get a draw and win the replay.

"He's a danger all right. And he's a very strong character. He shows that by still stepping up for penalties after he's missed. You don't just lose class and we all know it won't be long before Michael is scoring again."
