Reds agree Finnan signing

The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international is reported to be ready to join the Reds early next week, provided he passes a medical at Melwood.

Despite reported interest from Manchester United, Finnan is likely to join Liverpool for a fee of £4m. It is expected that he will replace Jamie Carragher in the Reds starting line-up next season.
