Reds aim for Lugano

The Reds had offered a bid earlier in the year, but it has emerged Seville also offered around £5m for the highly regarded player as the transfer deadline approached.

But Lugano decided to stay in Brazil in order to play in the World Club Championship. Liverpool however will be hoping to secure the signing come January.
