Reds aiming to score first

A win for Liverpool tonight would see them through to the knock out stages of the Champions League. However, that task has become more difficult with the injury to Milan Baros which is why Benitez believes it is vital for the Reds to score first.

It is so important to score first, the team that does that can dictate the game," said Benitez.
 
"If you score early on, it means the opposition must come out and attack and that leaves space to exploit. If you concede an early goal you have to go at the opposition and that can leave you vulnerable at the break with space left to exploit."
