Reds bid for keeper

Rafael Benitez is ready to bid £3m for the Brazilian goalkeeper to be back-up to Pepe Reina. The Reds confirmed in yesterday's Liverpool Echo that they are in talks with Cavalieri and Palmerias and hope to complete the transfer next week.

Cavalieri's arrival will see Scott Carson and Charles Itandje depart. Aston Villa are still interested in Carson while Galatasary are reportedly interested in Itandje.
