Reds bid for striker

The Reds have made a £6m bid for the Real Madrid striker according to the Mirror, but face competition from Valencia who want him to replace the Madrid bound David Villa.

Real Madrid are also unlikely to want to business with Liverpool unless the Reds agree to sell them Xabi Alonso.
