Reds Champions Leagues hopes hit

The Reds now trail both Chelsea and local rivals Everton in the race for the fouth and final place in Europe's premier competition. Liverpool's 4-0 defeat at Manchester United was compounded by Chelsea's victory at Sunderland and Everton's impressive 2-1 success against Newcastle United.

With just six games to go, Liverpool trail Chelsea by five points with trips to Goodison Park and Stamford Bridge still to come.
