Chief executive Rick Parry has revealed that plans to move to the new 60,000-seater stadium on Stanley Park involve a temporary ground share with bitter rivals Everton.

Funding for the new stadium would partly rely on the sale of land from the demolition of the current Anfield and Parry believes that a move to Goodison is a necessary step for the club.

"Our view is that this stadium is right for our needs. There is still a lot of work to do though and a number of obstacles to overcome yet. It will take time but I hope all of the fans are excited by what they can see."
