Reds draw

The Reds picked up only their second away point of the season when they held Middlesbrough to a goalless draw at the Riverside yesterday afternoon.

Although Liverpool will be glad to put an end to a run of five successive away defeats, they will be disappointed to have only picked up a point against Middlesbrough after dominating the game from start to finish.

If it wasn't for some good saves from Mark Shwarzer and a goal-line clearance from Johnathon Woodgate Liverpool would have got the win their play deserved. As it is, the Reds must console themselves with their first away clean sheet of the season.
