Reds favourite for Carling success

The Reds are one of the few sides to regularly take the League Cup seriously, so it comes as no surprise that the bookmakers have put their faith in Gerard Houllier's men.

Last year's runners-up, Manchester United, have been installed as second favourites ahead of 2001/02 Worthington Cup winners, Blackburn.
