Reds favourites for third

If Liverpool match Arsenal's result on Sunday they should finish the season in third place. Liverpool are home to Charlton on the final day of the season while Arsenal travel to Portsmouth.

Liverpool and Arsenal are level on points but the Reds have a +2 better goal difference. Arsenal have scored more goals than the Reds so they need only to beat Pompey by two goals more than Liverpool beat Charlton to finish third themselves.
