The club may dip their toes in the competitive Internet service provision market in order to try to turn around the fortunes of the E-Season ticket, which has failed to be as successful as they would have hoped.

"We're still in the early stages but we are looking to add value for fans by adding in some of our other services to their existing internet packages," said website operations manager Stephen Michael.

"There are things like the e-season ticket which thousands of people around the world access. We think we could be looking at a win win situation, with the fans benefiting and obviously an extra revenue stream for the club.

"If it went ahead, we would be looking to form a partnership with a current internet service provider."

BT Openworld would be favourites to become internet partners as they already have a working relationship with the official website.
