Michael Owen will be fit to face the Turks next Wednesday insist Liverpool, despite him dropping out of the England squad this week.
A club spokesman said: "As a precaution Michael has had a scan and it confirms what our medical people thought. It is a slight strain of the medial ligament and he will be fit to play against Galatasaray next week."
