Reds hit by Smicer injury

The 29-year-old scored in the 4-0 victory over Turkey, a match in which Milan Baros also netted, but also picked up an achilles strain that the player believes could bring his season to a premature end.

Smicer said: "I don't know how bad it is but I will have tests today. It's not a good time to get injured with only two games left but I will wait and see."
