Reds hold on for Champions League victory

After dominating the game for the first half and hitting the woodwork twice, Liverpool outclassed their Spanish opposition.

But a 75th minute goal by substitute, and former Chelsea frontman, Eidur Gudjohnsen put Rafael Benitez's side on the backfoot and they were forced to play most of the remaining 15 minutes of the game in their own half of the field.

When the referee's whistle finally blew Liverpool's 2-1 away win two weeks ago gave them the valuable away goals to ensure victory over two legs.
