The match, if confirmed, will take place at Anfield on August 8. The clash could be the culmination of a busy summer for the Reds who will also compete in the Amsterdam tournament and take in a tour of China and Hong Kong, an event still set to take place despite the SARS virus currently plaguing the Far East.
