Reebok delayed bringing out last season's away kit because of the uncertainty over Carlsberg's position as club sponsor. Reebok claimed the uncertainty cost them £7m so they refused to abide by the terms of their contract with the club.

Liverpool claim the delay did not cost Reebok £7m as their supporters still bought the away shirt after the delay.

Tomorrow is only a preliminary hearing and court proceedings are likely to drag on for several months.
