The 27 year old defender could be available for as little as £4m as Lazio are facing administration and could be forced into the Summer sale. Shares in the club were suspended yesterday by the Italian Stock Exchange due to debts of around £80m.
Arsenal and Juventus have also expressed an interest in the player.
