Reds in under 21's action

Le Tallec, who is on a season long loan to Sunderland opened the scoring in the UEFA European u21s Championship play-off last night when he fired past Scott Carson to give France the lead.

England equalised two minutes before the end to leave the second leg, in Nancy, France on Tuesday, finely balanced.

Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Jon Welsh were both unused subsitutes.
