Torres was forced off after half an hour against Aston Villa last week with a hamstring tear. The striker was a major doubt for the game against Manchester United this Saturday.
However, Torres has responded well to treatment and Liverpool's medical staff are hopeful the Spaniard will be fit to play this weekend.
