Reds keep Euro record

Arsenal's defeat in last night's European Cup final means the Reds remain the only British side to have tasted european success in the 21st century.

Celtic and Middlesbrough reached the final of the UEFA Cup in 2003 and 2006 respectively, but both fell at the final hurdle. Arsenal reached their first ever European Cup final last night but were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona.

Liverpool won the UEFA Cup in 2001, the European Cup in 2005 and the Super Cup in 2001 and 2005.
