Reds keeping an eye on Lens star

The 21-year-old has won acclaim across the continent following a number of impressive displays for Le Championnat side Lens this term, with Liverpool and fellow Premiership side Tottenham said to be amongst the most avid onlookers.

The Reds, who took the youngster on trial early in his fledgling career, would be favourites to win the race to sign the impressive Frenchman due to Gerard Houllier's strong relationship with Lens' manager, his former coach at Anfield, Patrice Bergues.
